Back to the Grindstone

I apologize again for not having blogged hardly at all this past week. I sort of gave myself a "staycation," which is a vacation at home. I really enjoyed the rest, and I have been spending my time drinking tons of coffee and chatting with people; it has been enjoyable. However, the staycation is over, and now I must get back to work. I do have a speech coming up, and I will be preparing for that tomorrow and the next few days. I also have a bunch of marketing to do. And a bunch of other things as well. Wow, I'm going to be really busy this week.

I haven't been up to too much that is exciting to write about . . . just relaxing and taking it easy, but I will be sure to write more about my crazy adventures in the coming days.

You most likely will not remember me but I knew your mom when she was growing up and I actually watch you and your brother and sister when your parents went on vacation when you were young. I finished your book and just wanted to tell you that you have a gift for writing and that your ability to maintain hope is outstanding. That is my problem. I suffer from Chronic depression and the last seven years have been a living hell. I can relate to the loss of friends and the feelings of not wanting to live. I wish I had your strenth in your belief in God. I don't have that right now, I feel a little forgotten. My mom is a very good friend of your Grandmother Gerry. We share a love of cats. I hope that you keep on working on other books and let people know that your are one in a million.
