Writing Speeches

There hasn't been too many recent entries on my blog today, and that is because I have spent most of the day sleeping. The little bit that I have been awake has been spent divided between three trips to coffee shops and intermittently working on a new speech I'm writing. I still have to write that internet article on hyperreligiosity, but maybe I won't be able to get to that until later this weekend.

I just noticed that in the sidebar if you click on the categories to get the archived entries, they don't work. This problem has been fixed. I could have fixed it long ago, but I was unaware of the problem. Sorry about that.

Book sales are just beginning, and people are starting to talk. That seems to be a good sign.

I really enjoy writing speeches, and so that is part of the reason why I have chosen to write one right now, even though I don't have a speaking engagement planned. It is about the inner experience of schizophrenia as well as about recovery. I might title it something like, "Recovery through Medication Treatment." Well, that sounds like a really boring title now that I see it written out. I'll have to work on that a bit more. When I get the speech outlined, I will post some of it here on my blog, or possibly record a podcast of me giving it to a pretend audience (do you think the pretend audience will give me a standing ovation? You better believe it!).
