My book, Regular & Decaf came out on Tuesday, but unfortunately I can not yet sell books over my website, www.regularanddecaf.com. My toll-free number (1-800-707-4756) is set up, but the ordering side of things isn't ready either. They both should be up in a week to a week and a half. In the meantime, I have been selling books to people I regularly come across in daily life.

One such person was a new friend of mine. Yesterday he told me that he has been enjoying reading the book, and even went so far as telling me he couldn't put it down.

Another such person was a woman who works in the area, and she told me that she read all yesterday evening and again this morning; it really seemed that she was being genuine when she told me I was a good writer. She said she was going to recommend books to others she knew, and she thought my book would have much broader appeal than I originally had envisioned. I hope she is right—I would love to help the general public understand more about mental illness too.

The comments from both of these early readers have made my day so far. In terms of how this book project is going for me, so far so good. Being productive again has made me incredibly happy, and I also feel like I'm living with more purpose. I actually have a reason to get up and face the day; that is an important thing to have.
